I recently went to an all day seminar on the newest and latest in eye care. One of the interesting and notable things I learned is all fish oils are not the same. Fish oil is great for dry eyes, and many other health issues, but it needs to be in the pill in a proper form to be utilized. It is a complicated process to make fish oil correctly and please talk to me if you want to learn more. There are some fabulous new implants for cataract surgery and new surgeries for keratoconus. Eye care has come a long way, but the most important part is still regular checkups. In contact lenses, Acuvue and Coopervision both recently introduced new 1-day contacts for folks who have astigmatism. I am so glad to be able to offer that convenience to those with astigmatism. Ask when you stop in for your next contact lens checkup.

We have also brought in a Hearing Specialist. He will do free screenings by appointments on Thursdays. Please call to schedule that appointment because unfortunately as we get older, we need to pay much closer attention to our health.
